Another thing Peter.... do you feed live phytoplankton to any of your inhabitants? I do and I often concentrate on the Nem here. They'll be a few that disagree with me ,but in my experience it keeps the zoo's within the Nem very happy. This is the symbiotic relationship. Since dosing about a year ago, my Nem has grown exponentially. Almost at the point of outgrowing my tank. Just 'food for thought '

If yours a BTA which I believe it is? It will likely split by that time of outgrowing....so you'll be able to sell some local, how great is that?!?

My haddoni have eaten whole fish. I sometimes used to give shrimp pieces. Now days I just feed a cube of brine or mysis all at once with pumps on and they get enough. They meaning haddoni/gigs/btas. That seems more natural to me. Scavenge small bits over time. T5 takes care of the rest

Seems somewhat cruel to me not to feed them.

they have no brain and dont experience hunger, and thrive on light alone.
