Hi, my green bubble tip anemone has been healthy and sitting in the same spot for a little over a month now. Today I did a water change and cleaned off my rocks. My anemone is hosted by 2 maroons and they never leave him alone. Today he climbed onto the highest point of the rock he was on and let go. He has been floating from spot to spot but never grabbing on for about 30 mins now. My water parameters are good and the same they have been since he was added. I have some green hair algae on my rocks which might be why he isn’t grabbing on. Right now he’s wedged in a corner on the sand being bombarded by my clowns. The anemone isn’t closed up either. It’s colors look good and I know I should wait it out for a while. Any suggestions for helping it settle down? Any ideas why it might have moved? Any input is great.

Still floating 6 hrs later...

Id bet the clowns harrassing it is causing it to move about....maybe seperate them or get more nems to appease the clowns.

They do crazy ish , I have seen them " swim" away from things too , I guess they are just a lounge lizard

The less you do in haste is the best for anemones usually. What light/flow are you working with?
I usually run a 4 on 4 off 5 on during the day. My flow is pretty low and it doesn’t bother him much. The anemone ended up sticking onto the glass so I think it’ll end up being ok.
