I have a bubble tip anemone who I've had for over 2 months now and he was doing great!! He even grew! Well I can home from work and he looked very very very ticked off. Mouth NOT gaping. But shriveled up to about a half dollar size.
I turned on my lights this morning and found that he detached himself from the rock and was laying in the sand. His foot is not sticky Any more. (His foot felt like it was retracted)
I immediately picked him up and put him in a black basket and he is floatin at the top of my tank. My maroon clown likes to be hosted in the anemone and she is a big girl. She was beating him on the sand lol.

Is there anything I can do to make him sticky again?? He is looking better already since I have him in the basket

Hold her where you would like her to stay. She should grab after a few seconds.

I tried that this morning but she didn't grab. Maybe now that her foot is inflated again??
Should I keep her and the maroon clown separated for a bit?

If he's responding in the baskets I'd give him a cple days to recoup
