My tank is currently recovering from being neglected (not my fault, i was out of town for 3 months!) and of course majority of the tank took a toll. My bubble tip nem lost almost all of its color and became very brown/see through and shrunk to over half its size. Im assuming my nem took such a hard hit because of my nitrate levels, but not everything seems to be on the right track. So here's my question, other than frequent water changes (I do 10g weekly on a 55g system) what will help my nem to grow? It's color is slowly coming back and it seems happier, but it is still very small.
