Hello I posted a thread asking for help on the exact same anemone as this one, I was told the do a cipro treatment but couldn’t get a hold of it so I used a marine anti-bacterial treatment thing, I done it in a plastic tub, this was at the end of September and I done it for 2 weeks.I’ll add some photos of what it use to look like(first 2) , before the treetment and after ( it looked the exactly the same now). is there any thing I can do to help it regain its self.

Thank you.

It’s looking fairly healthy. A little stubby and malnourished but the color is okay and streaking is good. Feed a little bit of a meaty food maybe mysis if you can 2-3x a week and you should see significant improvement :)

I don’t feed and if you look at the last picture it’s completely deflated

Thanks for replying, it’s been like the last picture for about a month now and I feed it mysis and krill 1-2x a week and it haven’t got any better, maybe slightly bigger but no real changes.

Water parameters are probably angering it
last time I checked there were within the “optimal” range and I keep up with a weekly 10-20% water change. I also have a GBTA what seems to be thriving. But I will test them tomorrow as it’s 1:30am we’re i am.

They do that sometimes. Mine do randomly throughout the day and at night, it’s normal especially if a clown is starting to host or something touches it
My clown used to host it but now hosts my GBTA since the other day. But didnt host it after the treatment as it lost all its tentacle.

Mixing nems can sometimes go badly. Did you notice this nem get sick after you added the GBTA?
No, I got the other nem after it finished the treatment because I thought it had died as it wouldn’t hold on and just flouted around the tank, but it now has a strong grip on the rock, so I would say that it haven’t really had a negative affect on it.

i also run carbon just in case of any chemical war-fair
