So i got a bubble tip anemone on october 14th and when i tried to place it in the tank it floated down into a cave from where i placed it and from there it slowly walked back farther into the cave.

after about a week it came out and started crawling out and stayed halfway in the cave but it has since crawled back into the cave under a rock. i can see it and it looks healthy however i cant really spot feed it where it is and im not sure it gets enough light.

is this normal for a BTA to take so long to move out from hiding?

Mine has been half covered in shade under a cave for two months Annoying

If it was my tank, I would take the rock and turn it upside down and lay it directly on the glass/sand. If that’s not a possibility then I would point a power head directly at it in the cave. That will force it to move.
