Hello,

Could you please ID my 2 anemones?

The pink one i bought to save, she was bleached when i first got her but she's colouring up nicely. 20180730_220702.jpg 20180730_220711.jpg 20180730_220707.jpg

Looks like a faded green bubble tip and rose bubble tip.

Do you mean that the green bubble tip is partially bleached?

If so what do you reccomend doing? I currently have a easy led lamp above it with blues at 100% and whites at 80%

I had a bleached anemone once and everyone I asked said to make sure you feed it regularly and it should get it's color back. And it eventually did.

I feed it twice a week & do you think that it's bleached in your opinion?

I could turn down the white leds

They are both Entacmaea quadricolor, aka bubble tip anemones. With bleached anemones I start them in more subdued lighting and slowly work them into brighter light as they recover. It will also help a lot if you can get them to eat, attempt to feed them twice a week. Things like pacific krill/plankton, mysis shrimp high protein pellets usually work well.

And in my opinion the green isn't quite bleached but is also stressed and has lost a bit of color too.

My ocellaris does host that specific anemone.

How far should i turn my lighting down & by how much should i increase it per day?

How long has the green one been hosting the clown? It looks like those two are in a corner, so probably getting less light already. How long have you had both of these?

The pink one i've had for 4 days. The other one i got about 4 months ago and it split into two, the clown has been hosting it for roughly 2 weeks now.

It's not the fish hosting the anemone, it's the anemone hosting the clown fish. Like you are the host when people visit your house for a party, the fish is visiting the anemone so the anemone is the host :)

For some reason i often mess that up! Haha thanks! Do you think i should turn down my light to like 60% blues & 40 or 50% whites? Then increase it by 2% a day?

Or let it be like this because its merely faded & continje feeding twice a week (perhaps upping it to three times?)
