Was told it was an LTA. Now that I got it home and its settled I'm not for sure.

Hard to tell due to it is not healthy and somewhat bleached and not typical. Clear picture of the mouth, in focus and picture of the whole column will help ID this anemone. As is, it is most likely a BTA IMO.

Cant get a picture of it where it is at the moment. Here is a screenshot of it moving from yesterday. And a pic of when it got home still in the bag. Maybe I can get a picture of its mouth after work if it shifts a bit. I know it's not perfectly healthy. Mouth is closed up tight though and has been eating. I have a couple bta's and condys in there too. Doesn't even remotely resemble those.

The column confirm that it is a LTA. Orange foot get lighter toward the top. It should have white verrucae all in a vertical roll near the top of the column but poor quality picture does not show this.

It's a purple LTA, I have one too. Put it on the sand, it will dig into it. They prefer to bury themselves in the sand rather than be on rockwork.

It is new to the tank. Leave it alone and allow it to get accustomed to it's new environment. It will find its happy place and make a home. Unfortunately, Nems don't always set up residency in an area we want.
