Hi Members,

Would like to have an ID on the attached anemone picture.
I want to get another sebae anemone, while my LFS told me the picture is sebae anemone, im not so sure seems like Long tentacle.

Another note is, if i place H.crispa & H.malu together, will there be any chem war ?

Thanks

Looks like sebae to me

Thanks for the identification. Will LTA finally settle down on sand Or some they do find comfortable on rock?

+1 for LTA's, although we'd need to see the foot of each to be certain. They typically require a deep sand bed to burrow their foot in, although I've heard of people using some PVC tubing or tupperware and filling it with sand.

Not sure this foot picture is sufficient or not.
As my previous question, currently it settle with it's foot stick on my aquarium glass, not sure it is still a LTA or not.
It seems to be holding itself very well with its foot on the glass, been there for almost 3 days without moving.

Looks like LTA to me. The spots on the upper part of the column confirms it IMO. It is odd for it to be stuck to the glass but not unheard of. I would leave it alone for now.

Ya, i wouldn't want to move it as well, it seems satisfy with that location.

all three anemones in the original post are m. doreensis, or Long Tentacle Anemone.
the red based anemone that was posted afterwards...is also an LTA
I agree with Ron

Yea they all look like LTA to me..

A malu and crispa should be ok together.

I have never had a issue keeping anamones together from the same family. Stichodactyla together or heteractis together.

Malu is a sand dweller and crispa is a rock dweller.

LTA need sand also...

Up till today my lta proven to me that it like its current place rather than sandbed
