hello! i have this anemone that's doing great but im not sure what kind it is. Was wondering if i can try to make my clownfish host it but i don't want to do anything yet just in case. It was given to me as a gift. Its definitely from the coast of Florida.

ps. i have a bta not doing very well that's posted on another thread, if anyone has the time to look at it and give me advise

It wouldn’t accept my files, here it is, under regular lights and under aquarium lights!

... you're not going to be able to "make" a nem host a clownfish. If they get together, fine, but don't try to force anything. My clowns took a year to "discover" the BTA in my tank. Just enjoy your critters as they are. :)

I get that completely! but i can encourage them by putting them in a smaller container together. That allows them to "discover" the anemone much faster and realize that they can actually host it. just want to make sure im using the right anem before I do

I actually played a video of clownfish hosting an anemone on my computer near where my clown fish hung out for 3 days for about 5-6 hours straight. Now they won’t leave it alone. I thought it was crazy when someone suggested it to me but it worked for me at least.

Yes I’ve heard of that! That’s why I’m trying to figure out the type of anem that this is before I try. Seems to be a condy tho which doesn’t pair with them :(. Thankfully I have a bta, hopefully it will pull up
