I’ll update tomorrow or later tonight.

It’s such a weird case and I’m completely confused.

Thank you so so much for all of your help!!!
Not weird at all. Sometimes they do well and then go to crap, then well again and then back to crap. That usually mean bacterial, but the fact the mouth isn’t gaping anymore leans more towards moving than bacterial. Just got to watch it and see what it does.

Agreed, stay hands off until moving to a hospital tank or its dead. Every time you try and help creates even more stress.

He now fell between 2 rocks. He is somewhat attached. There’s virtually no light where he is and you can’t see his mouth :(

If he comes loose though I don’t want him getting sucked up into anything so I may have to move him

Only if he comes loose
Don't touch it. If it's detaching turn down the flow. If it persists then there probably isn't anything you can do. It's trying to float away to a better environment. Putting your hands on it is making the situation worse.

Welp…
Clownfish found him and swam around with it in it’s mouth. Needless to say, it was mangled beyond recognition.
I’m going to try not to get discouraged and try again in a month or two. I’m gonna get my phosphates under control with some gfo and go from there :)
Thank you guys for all of your help!
