So as you can see this anemone is becoming a problem. So far it hasnt hurt anything near by but it will soon. It has grown very quickly and has been in this same spot long before any of these corals. Its foot is deep in the rock and Ive tried ice cubes, changing the lighting, hanging over a bucket, covering it with a funnel for two or three days and Im sure something else. Does any one have any other ideas on how to get this guy to move? All options are open for discussion so please feel free to comment with anything. (Killing it is NOT an option)

Thanks for reading,
Adam

Is chipping away at the rock an option? That was the only way I was able to move a maxi mini once. I used bone cutters and cut just enough to get the job done.

Not a bad idea and what I would prefer if I could but it is lodged into a crack that is pretty much the center of the rock. Busting the anemone out would probably shatter the rock and all the coral on it.

Flow can sometimes get them to move. Is it getting a good amount now? If you point a powerhead directly on it, that might persuade him to move around.

That was the first thing I tried, Ive also changed the power head layout many many times since it picked this spot.

Imo...Never ever put an rbta in your tank ever. They really should be called the devils weed! :) nothing moves them, no light, lack of, or blowing a powerhead right on them. Rip it out..be done with it! Mine split over 14x's!

What are your plans for it when/if you get it free? Since they are rock dwelling, seems like you would have the same issue down the road.
