Those are great pictures. Thanks for sharing!

Cracking pictures there, thanks for sharing! Will send those on to the missus, she's crazy about nems! :beaming-face-with-smiling-eyes:

Thank you very much and hope she likes those!!!

Beautiful animals! I love when the crabs and clowns live in harmony, that doesn't happen often.
I'm 99% sure your nem is actually a S. gigantea. S. mertensii have bright red spotting on their column and foot, as well as stripes and smaller round tentacles. Gigs are known to come in blues and purples, and almost always have longer tentacles like yours does.

There’s no cuter combination! the nem is beautiful too, I don’t think I’ve seen a mertensii in captivity before

edit: ah yes, mertens have spots on the whole pedal column whereas gigantea only have them along the top right below tentacles. purple gigs are super rare, grats!

edit 2: op, what’s that red/orange specimen on the left in the photos? looks super pretty

Wow!Really appreciate your inputs and these are great takes away for me.
You are totally right about the behavior of this little crabs hating to share his place with the others. It always tries to protect it.

I am really glad you like them.
The red one should be Stichodactyla haddoni and that crab actually lives with it for over a year and just moving around in between.
I bought them together from the original keeper and it's very strong and healthy
