Anemone Sick

Hi all,

So a couple of months ago my nem almost got shredded. He recovered from the cut but now he looks like this any recommendations on how he can get back to normal? Any medication? He's been this way for a month now. This is a Chicago Sunburst Anemone.

Feed mysis shrimp and avoid bright lighting, excess flow and assure Phosphates are not elevated as well as salinity

Sounds good, I moved it to the back with no flow and no direct sunlight. do you think it has a bacterial infection? @vetteguy53081

I had a CSB get shredded--it completely lost its oral disc--and completely recovered.

I recommend giving it some flow to ensure that waste/detritus doesn't collect around it, and enough light so that it doesn't bleach. Since it can't eat it is getting all of its nutrients from the zooxanthellae which requires light to survive.

No need for meds. It doesn't appear to be infected and it looks like it's healing from the injury.

Exactly what happened to mine after a ride in a gyree.. left it alone and full recovery. Took about 4 months.

Looks like the foot is fine. I'd expect a full recovery in a few months.
