I have a small clownfish tank that i planned to put in 2 anemones. Today i got a carpet anemone in the tank and tomorow i will go to the lfs to take the other anemone. Im not an anemone guy so i just want to ask that will these 2 anemones get along with each other cause my tank is small and i think that they will eventually touch. I will put in the pictures of 2 nems and if anyone know the name of the second one pls tell me, thanks!

This is the picture of the one im gonna buy tomorrow.

Doesn’t look bleached to me, they go ice white when they’re bleached. Normally anemones will sting and move away they won’t just die from touching each other so you should be fine just watch them as they start to encroach.

Thanks alot. Do i need to feed these guys things like ab+, polyp boost or oyster feast cause i have them in hand. Or i just need to feed them shrimp daily?

I used to feed mine raw fish like shrimp once a week, they get supplemental energy from the light as food too

It’s really up to the fish I’ve had clown fish host a toadstool in the past hah
Yes i know clowns can be random i have my pair made the duncan their home before lol. What i concern that if this is the pizza nem it can be sticky and my clowns could get caught in it

Their slime coat would get them off the hook unless the fish was sick, I think you’ll be okay but fish with a thinner slime coat would be a concern.

You should slow down and do more research on what different types of anemones there are and the needs of each one.
If you have a tank where a carpet and mag are going to touch your tank is way too small and clearly don’t have an adequate set up for both of them

I thought this through and i decided not to buy the second one today. The carpet is still wandering in my tank not settle yet. i fed it a piece of blended shrimp as i feed my clowns and after few hours when lights out it spitted the shrimp out. Is this because its full and didnt want to eat or it just finding a place to anchor its foot so it refuse to eat?

IMO you should never feed a new specimen as they are still acclimating to your tank. You know the care for a haddoni ?
