Anemone splitting?!?!

Is my anemone splitting

Usually a sign the foot has a tear. Keep an eye on it. If I have one that is like that (and is otherwise healthy) I cut it making sure to cut through the torn area.

Question: when the anemone splits, are other inhabitants at risk? I think my anemone is getting ready to split and I have some nice stuff in the area I would like to survive.
