Anemone tank?

I had a GHA problem awhile ago and the owner of Neptunes' Aquariums in Denver recommended Kents Tech M magnesium additive. Using it and raising Mag to 1500-1600 over a two week time literally dissolved GHA. I read that it's something in their ingredients that kills GHA, not just raising Mag levels.

I have beaten it before but every time appears temporary I want a fish aside from my yellow tang or anemones that can fend for themselves with hair algae because it comes back slowly every time I beat it.

Give it a try and let us know how it goes.

I have had ups and downs but going over two years now with mixing anemones with much success. Also had a hair algae issue as well but the CUC and urchin helps. Then there is also tweezers and manual removal as well.

I've had bta maxi minis and rfa all touching. I dont have a carpet nem so no input on them but the other 3 seem to play nice in my tank.

Woah! About to add a bubble tip and I’ve been so nervous. This gives me hope. Those maxi minis are/were beautiful. If you still have them.

I guess most nems will just move when stung. What about a nem dealing with hair algae.
You should get a population of Stomatella going. They increase and decrease in number to handle the algae. I even feed them to my anemone. Scare them and they drop their foot, and I feed the foot to the anemone. They live to grow another foot.love to feed them to my RFA and carpets.
