anemone unwell

hey all, my anemone is looking a bit weird it looks like it sucked itself in but mouth area still showing, Not sure what’s wrong with it has been having regular feeding three times a week and always takes the food and hasn’t moved from this spot for about 10 months.

It is likely the water condition. Check you water and you will find the problem

Also, feeding three times a week is a lot. Try cutting back on that and see what happens. What are you feeding it? If silversides, there have been reports of them killing anemones (possibly due to a spoiled silverside).

Must be seafood, but if I won’t eat it, I will not feed my anemone with it.

was feeding it shrimp frozen then let defrost for 10 mins the clowns also ate the shrimp as well and made sure the anemone was pin point fed and grabbed the food

What type of shrimp? Frozen shrimp for human consumption, or meant for feeding fish--like mysis or krill?
