Need a lot more information for this. The 3 weeks is how long it takes any coral or invert to really show that the environment is not sufficient. How old is the tank? What are your parameters? What lighting is being used?

Edit: Welcome to R2R!

Anemone are probably the most sought after and unfortunately mistreated animal in the hobby. They require a mature tank of usually at least 6 months (closer to a year is better), strong lighting and stable water parameters.

General parameters to shoot for are
Alk 8-10
Mag 1350
Cal 400
Nitrate 5-15
Phos .03

Try feeding it to see how that helps out. There may not be enough nutrients in the water. Mine aren't happy when nutrients are low.

Bad advice for a stressed anemone. Should just give it time and ensure stable, proper parameters.
