Evening, all -

I know acro ID is a tricky thing. But I have this colony that I got as a small ugly frag in trade from another reefer who told me it was from WWC (I think). For a year or more it was always kind of pale green but it's now developing this pinkish base and I really like it. Anyone recognize this piece?

BTW, that's my TSA Fruity Pebbles above it doing that weird green thing in one spot and nothing everywhere else LOL. Well, the back half of the colony is finally starting to turn the right color:

Maybe you should just make up a name like everyone else does these days so they can charge outrageous prices
It’s an acro so... who knows
I’ve had some change color completely from when I bought it.
I would call it corona crazy

Okay, I'll call it "BW Corona Crazy" (that's for Brad Ward). A zillion dollars a frag!

Looks almost like Battlecorals Bubblebath Unicorn. Just a guess.

Looks like wwc yellow tip (classic)

Definitely not yellow tips. I have that in my tank and it looks totally different - thicker branches, not as tight a growth pattern. I'll try and post a better shot for reference

Definitely not BC Bubblebath Unicorn, but it looks like WWC King Fiji to me. I only have a couple of frags of this, but here's what mine looks like

YES! That's the one I thought I saw but couldn't remember where! Someone local told me that as well
You've got an awesome piece there!

THANK YOUUUU! Now I feel bad for hacking out the center of the colony, but it was shading something else and I made some great frags and sold them as mystery acros for $25 :-)

Wow some people got a great deal on those frags... It's not a cheap coral.
