I have a grower friend who did a system reboot this past summer and is now dealing with this in his system. I don’t know what it is or how to tell him to treat it. I’ve attached a pic of it and a microscope pic also. Any suggestions?
thanks
Jeff

He suspected that it was gha but said fluconazole and fritz algaecide neither has had an effect on it. said his nitrates are .1 and phos is .01. To me if anything this is low. I run my system at close to 20 nitrates and .12 phos. I have some algae patches here and there but nothing like what he is experiencing.
thanks
Jeff
