Just taking my turn in saying hello. It's nice to have places to go and share with others a hobby you love. I figured after lurking for so long I might as well come on in and grab a bite to eat.
I've been in the hobby for almost 1 year now. After having freshwater for a very long time I decided to switch over to what I've always wanted, a reef tank. I took my 75g tank, drilled it for a bean animal overflow, added a 29 gallon sump under it, and started my tank up. It's a slow process for me but I finally got some decent lights (leds) and am getting the hang of things a bit more. Even though I've had some setbacks I always look forward to coming home and looking at my tank or my next purchase. I realize I'm talking to the quire but that's why I'm here :)
Well here's a picture of my tank. This tank will end up being a sump for my new tank I'm getting next year. The new tank has to go into the basement due to it's size and weight. I ended up just making so cheap light hanging fixture because I didn't want to drill into the ceiling.
