I have a new issue. It's always something. I thought I had some cyano cropping up, and it's usually fairly straightforward to get rid of. I was going to scrub it off the rocks with a brush and it won't come off. I mean, it is tough stuff. In the distant past when I've had cyano I could dislodge it with a baster.

Any idea what I might be dealing with here?

A picture under white light would help with the ID

It could be coraline, but we are just guessing without a picture (in white lights please)

It looks purple in the image, but it is definitely red. I'll try to set up with some better lighting.

It's like a deep red color, just like cyano. It's just not slimy and stringy.

I read this, and it seems like turbos are the way to go. I have a couple in my box and it looks like something has been munching on it.

I'll add more!
