Another Red Sea Reefled problem post

REEFLED 50

The Red Sea ID showed up on the WiFi but once I selected it, it’s quickly got kicked out of WiFi and replaced by my home WiFi.

Usually it will need the Red Sea WiFi to be connected in order to add the light.

I have tried factory reset but I don’t see the double quick blink like the YouTube video said. Will replacing the internal battery helps?

I personally think that there might be a problem with your phone. Maybe the phone cannot properly connect to the led. What phone are you using?

You can try to set autoconnection to false / off for your home wifi so that the phone does not connect automatically to the home wifi while connecting to the led. Also try to set the option on for staying connected to a wifi (in your case the led) even if there is no internet available.

iPhone 12. I did try the auto connect you suggested and it’s no luck. It’s keep trying to connect, then it disappeared from the WiFi then keep bouncing back and forth on my setting. I have a reefled 90 I am running with no issue so I don’t want to delete the app and ended up having two problems.

I have Ai primes, hydra and radions and other WiFi devices no issues but this dang thing.
