Finally moved in to my new house and started setting up my dream tank. Unfortunately, I bought a Red Sea Reefer 250 from someone nearby. The bad silicone was not noticeably when the tank was full and I was not aware of how poorly the Red Sea tanks were made. When I got it home I noticed the silicone starting to separate and read all of the terrible reviews. I contacted Red Sea and they said they were aware of the manufacturer defect but will not offer any warranty. They wouldn't even give me a discount on a new tank. Pretty bummed but very glad I didn't set up this piece of junk. I was able to cancel my order for Red Sea lights, roller mat and return pump and starting over with a new tank.
