(Another) Reef Safe Ceramic Question

Does anyone know if there is a reef safe ceramic/clay that does not need to be fired in a kiln?

I have searched around and can't seem to find any, just wondering if anyone else had stumbled across one.

I am looking to make some frag tiles for my 80gal to grow out coral on.

I use Apoxie Sculpt to build structures and mount Gorgonians to my rocks. Might work for you. It comes in different colors. I use the "natural" and it blends pretty well until it get covered.

Yes. It's a thick two part putty. But it is soft enough that you can use it to "glue" together two rough pieces of rock. It fills in the nooks and crannies pretty good.

If you're just looking for tile home depot sells 4x4 travertine tile in 9 packs for a few bucks, I used the rough unfinished ones and my montipora and acans have been encrusting without any issues. If you have a tile saw I've also heard good things about the marble threshold tile its thick and heavy so wont get pushed around by snails.

They also have some smaller sizes. I like the ~3/4" square pieces on the mesh for spreading/encrusting corals - use a square of them maybe 5x5 - it makes "fragging" really simple. The ~1x1.5 ones I use for acros .
