Another T5 inquiry..

I was just wondering how most of you run your 6bulb T5HO fixtures 2 switches?
Do you run 4 bulbs for dawn/dusk-actinic period, then the other 2 for the midday period?
Or the other way around?
2 bulbs for dawn/dusk actinic period, then the 4 bulbs for the midday period?
Has anybody tried both ways and found one worked better than the other?

I run 2 bulbs for dawn dusk and 4 for daytime.

I only have 4 bulbs T5 with LED strip
LED strip for dawn and the T5+T5 all on during the day
