I need some input on my tank stand. My problem is that I am slightly out of level on my front right of stand. It is only off by slightly more than 1/16 of an inch. If it were even across the front or back I would not worry but like I said it is just one corner. Problem must be in the stand. Can I simply shim under front right corner of tank. Or am I just obsessing. Thanks for any advice. Also I have 1” of styrofoam under perimeter of tank. Don’t know if this will help or hurt my situation

Always shim stand, not tank.
I would shim, fill half way, double check it before filling all the way.

Thanks. Will try shimming more. Sorry about posting in wrong place. Should have probably posted in dyi in hindsight. New at this.

Well I'm a carpenter so I'll meet you over there to say the same thing, but I'll try to word it differently, so maybe act surprised :)

I used foam as a leveling mat and found rubber more effective but first the stand has to be level

A #mod could move this thread, no need to start a new one. But could you imagine what a true 'tank leveling' emergency would look like? Scary.
How big is the tank? Any pics? The foam is to eliminate tiny imperfections on the surface of your stand, so they don't create pressure points on the bottom glass of a rimless tank. It's not to magically make the tank self leveling. Funny how even a 1/16" can be annoying if it makes the water level look uneven yeah?
