I had 2 female lyretail anthias and have had them for about 3 months . one of them vanished about a month ago. They used to hang out with the Chromis when I had two. the remaining one hides all the time but comes up to eat. is this normal for them?

At times yes. Generally though when they do this, it’s intimidation by another tank occupant
