i have a large 4" lyretail anthias female. if i add 2 female and 1 male that are all smaller do you think the big female will try to fight the male for dominance and change or will it stay female since there will be a male?

I would think the big female will fight the male to the death for dominance, can you just not buy the male? or if its a trio package, sell the male or big female.

right i could just not add the small male. but i want to add them all if possible wondering if anyone has tried this and knows for sure.

Even if someone has a sucessful story, every fish and every tank environment is different, it doesn't mean that yours won't fight, you still have to take a chance and be ready to separate them if they do decide to fight it out.

Or you can go to the lfs and buy one of those breeding containers and put either the male or large female in it to see if the other one will charge at it.
