Any clue what's on the other end of these tentacles?

Yesterday I had the molt of something that resembled a Freddy Krueger claw floating around my tank but before I could get it my powerhead chewed it up. I immediately thought is this a bobbit worm? Do they molt? In an unrelated note I've spent the last month spending an hour or more staring in to my dark tank at night hunting ciralonod isopods. I would be really surprised if a bobbit worm had been operating right under my nose. I do have a bunch of empty snail shells that I chalked up to the 5 gorilla crabs I've found in the tank so far. One piece of live rock has a bunch of what look like tentacles sticking out of holes in the rock. You can see a few sets of them in the attached picture.

Hmmm I'm going to have to take an even closer look at them. Maybe I'll try to tweezer one. I've never seen one come out at all which is why I wasn't thinking brittle star but now that you mention it they do look very brittle star like.

Oooh that could be it too. Banded spaghetti worms are a thing. Interesting. Maybe I'll try giving them a piece of food and see what happens.

In looking much closer at the rock these things are literally everywhere. I just got a pick of one tentacle reaching way out after I fed my fish.

I have checked at night many times and watched them during the day. They definitely look like they're small brittle stars but never once have I seen anything besides the tentacles extended out from it's hiding place.

They look too textured and too short to be spaghetti worms, though you may well have some spaghettis in there somewhere.
