I've played since I was 7. Gave my friend my old set when I moved to Florida. Been wanting to get a new set the last couple years but no room for them :/. Ive had an itch to play, bout to just go to Sam ash and bang away lol.
Found pics of my old set c.2013

Just a few I have in storage since leaving my band to run my own business. Miss it a lot. I’ve sold quite a few to help fund my reef addiction. Main thing I like about reefing in comparison is I can do it on my own. Being in a band was hard going with differing opinions, wants , egos and just being constantly let down.

Neighbors must love you guys, especially when playing the drum solo of In A Gadda Da Vida

But that got me wondering......What impact does beating on the drum skins have on your fish? They've got to be able to pick up on the vibration!:cool::cool:

I’m not sure it has any effect. Most of the vibration is lost in the thick carpet in my room, where my tanks are. I recently moved the drums downstairs, because they “shook the whole house”.

I’ll upload some more pictures of my different snares in a bit. :)

Does knocking on the back of the bucket counts? ;)
Eh, sort of! I once did a bucket drumming performance at my church. Everyone seemed to love it! I used my regular sticks and turned the bucket upside down. When I wanted to get the base drum sound, I just lifted it slightly off the ground with my right foot.

Good question, I was wondering this myself. When my wife and I move I want to get another set.
