really mine never looked that full. cool hopefully the once going in the Sh tank will look like that.
Wow, and mine looks fuller, especially at the top. It's polyps are twice as long on the top as compared to this pic.

Preach!
Gorgonians are criminally underrated. There isn't a much better bargain for flowing appearance/texture vs price.
They're practically indestructible and imo, not often enough recommended for beginners. And they're easy to see when they're upset

Here are mine, love them

Love gorgonians. Would also recommend Salty Bottom. Just got some really nice ones
from them. Anyone know where I can get Swiftia exserta?

Another gorgophile here. I've got four in my tank. One of the common purple candleabra ones, another of the same in orange, one of the purple willow types and a Tracy Morgan.

They're all doing very well - I've had them for years, and good growth on the candleabras and the Tracy Morgan are great. I'm not noticing much growth on the purple willow but it seems long lived and healthy.

The one gorgonian I didn't have success with was the purple ribbon type. It was really neat, but didn't last in my setting. I may try another one.

I enjoy a gorgonian or two

Love the natural look of your tank.. feels good..
Muterld tones, like tans and greens; very soft and beautiful.
Also, I think Codium is one of the most interesting macroalgae! The branching structure and complex patterns rival sps coral structures. Very cool tank.

One of
I love gorgonians. They can be placed and add height and dimension to any tank. And yet there is very little discussion about them. Why is that?

I must also compliment your tank!
First of all, tree sponges are SO cool, also underrated, and I'm curious how long you've had yours? Are you seeing growth? Do you dose Silica for them?
Also, I really appreciate your tank layout.. Great contrast from lower-height life on left and very tall, high in the water column, life on the right!
The depth of that tank shape could be tricky to have an appealing layout, since not everyone gets enough HEIGHT off the sandbed in a "tall" tank (Significant height, per volume).
Anyways, I also appreciate your variable depth to the sand bed.. gives it a dynamic feel and probably helps make a nano tank feel like a large world!
You got some good "Alice in wonderland" type vibe going.. I'd love to eat some 'shrooms and stare/explore!
Props. -Drew
