Any Harm In This?

Have a Kessil A360we, currently have the lights coming on at 10:30 at 5% for 1-1/2 hours before ramping up to 60% for about 6 hours then back down to 5% for another 1-1/2 hours and off by 7:30. Sometimes Im up early or home late, is there any harm in extending the 5% power longer? Is that such a low power it shouldnt effect anything or could it still cause excess algae growth? Also at 5% I have it at 0% color so very blue

Depending on your rank size and how many Kessils you have, I really don't think your over doing it with lighting. Lots of people run longer lighting schedules. Try 2 hours ramp up with 8 hours main lighting and 2 hours ramp down. 12 hours is nothing unusual.

I run the Kessils for 12 hours a day with two hour ramps up and down (10am - 10pm).

Doesn’t sound bad to me. A lot of people keep moonlights on the whole night. Your essentially doing the same thing but only for a couple of hours :)

You have nothing to worry about here. Even if you have all low light demanding corals, you are not overdoing it with a single Kessil.
