I've scoured through numerous threads about salt mixes (including several articles by RHF) and have gotten the general sense that most commercial mixes are fine. I've also heard that some mixes have unusually high amounts of some elements that aren't that beneficial. However, I have not come across much information or data on the NeoMarine salt mix from Brightwell aquatics.

I've gone through a few bags of this product now and just wanted to see if there was anything I needed to be aware of before I keep purchasing this product. I've not had any specific issues and the tests that I do have all come back in 'normal' ranges. (e.g. pH, ALK, Cal, Mg)

Thanks for any feedback.

I'm curious why you asked this and then never said anything more... :p

Since it was 2 years and thousands of threads ago, I don't recall what I thought at the time :D , but looking now, it's a different conclusion if it came from 4 cups of salt (a few gallons of salt water) or 4 cups of salt water (making it a much bigger amount of undesirable solids).

Neither is good, but one is worse. :D
