I placed an order from Live Aquaria a couple of week ago because they were the only online retailer who had a Ritteri anemone. To meet the free shipping requirements, I also ordered 2 Chromis, a Copperband Butterfly, 2 Tuxedo Urchans, and 5-each Red and Blue leg crabs.
The order was shipped a few days later without the anemone or the Chromis, but they still gave the free shipping so ok. When the order arrived the CB was dead.
I used the live guarantee forms on their site and heard nothing. Today I messaged them only to be told that they would provide store credit.
So in order to get my Copperband Butterfly, I now have to pay $29.00 for shipping, plus about $17 more since the price of the CB has increased.
Does this seem like a good and fair business practice to anyone? After this experience I have no intention of ordering from Live Aquaria again, and it sounds as though they're just going to keep my money after sending me a dead fish.
