I just setup my first reef tank, which is a new redsea 350 about 5 weeks ago. The last time I checked my cycle was 5/26 and ammonia was 0 and nitrites were somewhere between 0 and 0.25. I got so busy and was not able to check the water again until today, which showed all ammonia, nitrites, and nitrates at 0. Did I wait to long to put fish in? How do I know if the bacteria is still alive? Appreciate any advise.

I researched r2r and found great reviews. Said everyone is willing to help others in the hobby, but I'm not sure. I made a post and so far 16 people reviewed it but no replies. Why view if you don't even want to reply....at least say hi.
