Thanks for the welcomes guys! Can any one help me identify this coral. It came with my tank and I was told it was dead... and although is hard (almost solid in fact), yet sometimes has really small tentacles which are fine as hair and glows green under my blue lights (which I presume means its not dead!) My Damsels have taken to it quite nicely.
1 - what is it?
2 - is it still alive
3 - it's not going to decide one winters eve that the Damsels would make a pretty tasty supper?

Thanks :)

Hi everyone. New here, based in South London and just getting my first reef tank set up! Looking forward to getting into this hobby.
Welcome to R2R and the salty world. Lots of knowledgeable and helpful people here who will support and advise you when needed.
