Heard that Aqueon had problems but not Marineland. Just bought a marineland 20L for a sump. Have not added baffles yet, if needed with purchase another tank. Any info on these tank problems would be great.

Be very careful if you plan on drilling them. I just had a 75 gallon Aqueon shatter on me a couple days ago because they used tempered glass. Every Aqueon I bought previously was non-tempered and drilled just fine. I guess they use both types of glass, but don't tell you which one they used to build the tank you just bought.

I have always bought Aqueon because I used to read stories of leaking Marineland tanks. I have three Aqueon tanks currently, oldest is about 8 years old and no issues with any of them. I drilled one of their new 60 breeders this time last year for my current reef tank.

I had an aqueon 90 gal running for 4 years with no issues. Never owned marineland. Try to only purchase 15mm or thicker glass. Buy the tank predrilled. Inspect glue and seams prior to purchase. I think Aqueon bought out "All Glass".

I've owned both 125g marineland and 180g aqueon and had no issues with either but I haven't bought any in several years.
EDIT. I did not drill the aqueon. I did drill one large hole in the 125 to supply my external return pump. That tank is now my sump.
