Hey! I live in Washington state and had the idea of trying to set up a cold water tank for aggreate anemones, cant find much info about how to set it up ? Would it be the same bacteria as we use for regular salt tanks ? Also what is the temp for "cold water "
Thanks

Cold water is around 55-60 degrees...there is a facebook group called Cold Water Marine Aquarium Owners where you will find people who keep these tanks. Most are from Washington or Oregon.

It is not the same bacteria. It took many months for mine to cycle since everything is slow in cold water. They actually make a microbacter specifically for cold water marine. It pops up on amazon or ebay now and again..not an easy find.
