Anyone diy a base for red sea stand?

a buddy want to build a base to raise his red sea stand. Anyone have done one before or have the template for it

Years ago I raise a 75 gallon freshwater tank by simply building a 2 x 6 frame. Not the pretties, but it works.

A buddy wanted to raise 8” so i might have to use a 2x4 and a 2x6 with a 3/4” skinn to bring close to 8”

Why not just use a 2 x 8?
