Anyone dose hydrogen peroxide daily?

Sounds good. Maybe dosing of things like iron are more importaant when using oxidizers of various sorts (including ozone, hydrogen peroxide, Lugols, etc.). :)
The iron recipe I got from you Lugols I have been mixing my own for longer than I care to remember. Manganese more recently.

Alright so seems like everything sounds positive here about h202. I have quite a bit of gha and what I believe is dinos. Brown strings/slime with bubbles on it. setup is a Red Sea max 250 with an hob skimmer. It’s a 65g. Should I do the .5 ml per 10g or 1ml per 10g?Also, do you have to remove any phosguard or carbon bag?

How does peroxide effect copods?
Dosing and or dipping live rock with straight 3% or a 50/50 saltwater/peroxide?

Sorry I'm new here. Is it accurate to say that dosing peroxide would be effectively the same as Ozone, just a different mechanism to raise ORP? If so it seems like peroxide would be a lot safer and probably easier.

You cznin all intensive purposes you can consider using peroxide as having similar results as ozone and yes safer when used in an Oxydator.

I dose 1 ml of 3% hydrogen peroxide on a daily basis in my 10 gallon reef tank. Water and sand stay cleaner longer and there have been no adverse impacts on fish, shrimp, corals and a condi anemone. It’s a happy tank.

I am dosing H2O2 to my tank as an experimental desease management treatmen. For this reef-safe treatment They recomended to stop Lanthanum chloride (elimiphos rapid) as it could interact adversly with the H2O2….

I highly depend on 9ml daily dose of Elimiphos Rapid + 5ml of Elimi NP to keep my phosphates at between 0.08 and 0.10. (Nitrates are a steady 15-16 ppm)

I stopped dosing elimiphos rapid for 7 days and phosphates are now at .18….

Question is: are you aware of any adverse effect of dosing elimiphos rapid alog with H2O2? I want to go back but am afraid of reactions.

Lanthanum can, under at least some circumstances, catalyze the breakdown of hydrogen peroxide into an unusual and highly reactive singlet oxygen. I don’t know if there’s enough in a normal reef application of lanthanum to be concern, but it’s not impossible to be a problem.

Based on the fact that H2O2 is supposed to decompose “fast” (30 min or so Ive read)… would it be safe to asume that the lanthanum can be dosed under the following conditions?

1) Dose the lanthanum at least 3 hours after H2O2 and/or 3 hours before the next H2O2 that way the Lanthanum also reacts before the H2O2 comes in….

And

2) Dose the lanthanum directly to the filter sock (which is also before the skimmer) to ensure its “removal” and dose the H2O2 to the return chamber to reduce the posibiliy of them “meeting”
