Mine went up for a few minutes last night, then down again.. .but then it went back up and I was able to do my daily coral feeding

As of right now its back down..

My guess is, they have some serious issues with their cloud.
My lights are out of sync, might need to just turn them off :(

It is available in "local mode" for me. I can live with that.

I may go back to the AI app.

Let me point out something to all of you who may not know.

The "cloud services" that these devices are connected to are expensive. They are hosted servers and database resources at providers like AWS, Microsoft Azure or Google Cloud.

For every mobius device and user endpoint (phone, ipad, desktop, etc.) that touches those services, bandwidth and processing must be accounted for. The more devices and users, the more resources must be paid for. If they skimp, speeds grind to a halt.

If you are NOT paying a monthly fee for service to the vendor, then THEY are paying EVERY DAY to host your services (losing money bit by bit). Let's say you buy a $1,000 worth of Aperature equipment. They make maybe $200 from you. You use the equipment for 5 years and never buy another thing from them. The hosting for your device cost them more than the original profit on the device!

It follows that these "free" "cloud services" are sucking these companies dry and the more durable goods that they sell, the worse the issue becomes. Their only "payback" is consumables or breaking down and charging for "enhanced" subscriptions of some kind.

We are quickly approaching a day where the economy in this niche is not going to support those perpetual revenue losses for hard good sales.

Keep that fact in mind when you INVEST in a product that is a boat anchor without its cloud service. Be it from this company or any other.

Local mode?

Yes. I'm not sure about that either.

The other day, I had to log back in for some reason. Today, I opened the app to make a change. It told me that it was in local mode, whatever that means.
