Hey Guys,
I got some rock in a tank break down and it has tons of aiptasia and turf algae, had anyone ever bleached RealReef rock?

I’m just looking for s way to clean the rock and get all the organic off before cycling it and using it in a different system,

Thanks!

Can’t believe no ones done this. Well I threw a piece of RealReef live rock in a bucket with some
Bleach to test if the color will hold fast. I’ll report back in the morning. Not leaving anything to chance I’m drying out the rock on my patio and tomorrow I’m going to pressure wash it clean. If the bleach dosen’t strip the color then I’ll soak them in bleach water one more time rinse air dry and then proceed with building my structure.
