Anyone getting busy in the tank this weekend?

I'm one of those people who plan ahead throughout the week for any "chores" I need to do, so I don't have to do them on the weekend. But then I have nothing to do on the weekend, so I feel useless and unproductive...Anyways, who of you saved your tank "chores" for the weekend? What are you busy doing in the tank room today?

Building an aquascape and working on plumbing for the new tank!

Relocating the RODI from the basement to under the kitchen sink. Then running new RO lines to the ato res and re installing the selonid. After moving I lost my fish room and I’m so sick of filling up the ato every 3-4 days. Back to automation!

yep- saturday is my water change and maintenance day. I clean the glass thoroughly, looking for and removing bubble algae, hair algae, and adjust scape as needed. I just switched from reef crystals to nyos pure. I also replaced all my EODI filters and salt mixing bin that i am convinced was filthy from those reef crystals. I try to put in under 3 hours.

I’m going to upgrade my mixing station soon and part of that plan is to go heavier on the automation. I’m installing a multi line bulkhead in the wall so my ATO and AWC can all feed automagically from the mixing station reservoirs :)

Building a stand for the new tank. 90x36x23, peninsula. Plan to have lights on motorized lift system...
Then cutting up old 300 tank( has a seam issue on one lower corner to make a new sump
and smoking some ribs for 6 hours...

That’s how I had it set up at our old house and it’ll change your life once you do. We moved in Feb and I lost my fish room. Even though this house is much bigger, it was so much easier running lines in that unfinished basement. This new house my wife said no lol ever since I’ve been looking up ways to keep it clean but get my full automation back.

I'm the same way. I usually don't have time and/or don't feel like working on the tank during the work week.
I just did a small water change today to vaccuum up some detritus and I'm working on trying to catch my genicanthus angel (lamarcks) with a fish trap box, because he's been picking on my lps. That's all I've got planned.
