Ive been trying to get this thing going for what seems like three years...reefer 170/radions g4 pro/2x mp10 qd/nyos skimmer. I just can not get sps going. Montis are fine. Zoas like a weed and clams are good too. Has anyone had success with this size tank?
Anyone have a sps dominant reefer 170?

There could be about 750 things as to why your SPS are dying. Post a pic of you tank and its setup if you can.
1) How long does it take SPS to start to die?
2) Have you ever used a PAR meter to try and place the SPS in a higher PAR area of the tank?
3) Whats your water chemistry like?
4) Whats your lighting schedule like?
5) Are you or do you dose any supplements?
We can start with those questions.
I can tell you for sure, its not your tank. I have seen nano's with beautiful SPS in them.

Ive been trying to dose triton. For whatever reason I'm not able to get my alk above 6.5. I'll use baking soda to get it to 8 and then turn that back on.
Calcium is around 390
Lights come on around 10 and go out around 8. 20k program at about 50%
Seems they last about 3 weeks. Although my sunset is doing great
