I have a 13 minute video on my pc. All I need is to edit out the last like 4 seconds of it. Anyone know a way to do this?

Ok thanks. I am using it now but am still confused on how to just cut out like 5 seconds of it and that's it.. Would you be able to possibly help me with this specifically?

If you took the video with your cell phone you may be able to trim it in the phone. I would save a copy on your computer to be safe.

Yes I did shoot it from my iPhone but the video is too long to do anything on the iPhone apparently! Its a little over 13 mins.

ok to cut out the seconds add the full clip to your timeline. Within the timeline go to the start point of what you want to cut out and click on the "set begin work area" which is the icon in the bar right above the timeline. it has a red line on the left hand side of two blue []. Then you go to the last part you want to cut out and click the "set end work area" (next to the first one). That will set the area you want to cut out. Once you have that set you then go to the "editor" tab (at the top) and click on the cut icon. That will remove the "work area" you just set. Also in the editor tab I believe you can rotate your video.

Im not sure if it worked or not because when I play it back its so laggy!

yes my plays laggy on me as well but exported fine. I thought it was my surface, one of the reason I got the iMac, but when I was having the same issue with the iMac I did more research. I was recording in 4K which my surface and iMac do not support. Once I dropped the recording down to 1920x1080 (which is support by my iMac) i don't get lagging anymore. Try exporting the video and see how it looks then (yes it takes time). Also check your recording setting and make sure its not set to 4k

Yeaaaa there's no way I can do this :|

Understanding. I used to feel the same. Def took me time to edit my videos, even then my videos still don't get edit great. You can do it, just keep at it. The worst part is exporting it lol

Would you be able to do this for me in all seriousness? I need it done so soon and im desperate lol
