Anyone know anything about Watermelons?

I have a stray vine growing in my back yard. It has about 6 fruits but some look normal and some are white, about 3 of each. They aren't very big but bigger than a large grapefruit. What does it mean if it's white? I've never seen melons that look like this.

That stem looks more squash than melon. Pics of leaves? My dad grows a ton of heirloom melon varieties. If someone here can't name it, I'll ask him if he recognizes them.
 
It's a type of winter squash, looks like cha-cha.

That looks exactly like it! I assumed it was melons since we eat those in the back yard. I figured seeds were spit there. Deer must have deposited a seed for us there. They came up in the back yard and ate my wife's hibiscus too. I can't figure out any other way that a squash would grow in a random spot.
