Anyone know what this is?

It has come out of the rock in the last few days. At first I thought it was part of the purple algae but its branching now. About 1/2" tall in the last few days.

Shoot, I have the same thing and can't remember the name. If I remember correctly, reefing madness Id'd it for me. All I know is its good and supposedly tangs like it
