Was just curious who here owns or has owned a deep blue aquarium and if you like them... I'll be ordering a 80 rimless next month

I just ordered one of their "mini-frag" tanks (24x24) to upgrade my frag system. Picking it up thurs or friday this week. From what I've heard they're pretty good tanks. FYI, their tanks are on sale right now according to my LFS so now might be a better time to order

I have a 60 cube and really like it
I did not replace the bulkheads
No problems tank has been running for 3 years

I'm getting the non RR 80 rimless.. Will probably drill it for either a ghost overflow or synergy reefs 16" overflow

I have had an 80g up for the last year and am quite happy with it.

I am getting the 80g as well and have heard to replace the bulkheads, now that there is a db thread... You know, tell us about the bulkheads!

The deep blue bulk heads are very cheaply made. I have personally seen 3 fail and 2 crack during installation and have heard of countless others. Better safe than sorry in my opinion.

Yes, you should definitely replace the bulkheads, Ty are not good quality. Also, how do you post on this app, I have been trying to find out.

I just got done hooking up my new 36 x 18 x 12 (I changed my mind at the last minute and went with this instead of the 24x24) Rimless frag tank and I must say I'm very impressed! It only cost me $240 with tax. The bulkheads are standard quality. If you break them its because you overtightened them. You should be able to get a tight seal with just tightening by hand.
Anyway, the quality of the build is impressive for the price. Plus the overflow is adjustable, which I really like. The stand pipe kit is very quiet and can handle a lot more flow than I'm currently throwing at it. Very happy with this purchase. If I ever need a larger frag tank, I'm going to stick with this brand for sure.

I'm not trying to jack this thread, but I'm very excited about a new tank. My last tank I drilled myself and added a glass holes kit, now I want a reef ready tank and this is the one. What kind of lighting are you 80g people running and do you guys have build thread?

I own a Deep Blue rimless 60 cube. It's one of the nicest aquariums I've owned. Great product.
